Application terms

These terms cover using WorkSynapse: browsing the corpus, creating a profile, and following a posting through to the employer. Using the site means accepting them.
What WorkSynapse is
A discovery tool. We collect public job postings, match them against what you tell us you want, and explain each match. We are not an employer, not a recruitment agency, and not a party to anything you agree with a company you find here.
Applying happens on the employer’s site
Every posting links back to its original page, and the apply button takes you there. We do not receive, store, or forward applications, and we never contact an employer on your behalf. Once you leave, that company’s own terms and privacy policy govern what you send them.
What we can and cannot promise about a posting
The details come from the employer’s own posting, and we repeat them rather than improve them. That has consequences worth stating plainly:
- A posting may close before we notice. A closed one stays reachable, marked as closed, so a link you saved does not vanish.
- Where a salary is shown as an estimate, it is labelled as an estimate. Only a figure without that label was stated by the employer.
- Visa sponsorship and relocation show three answers, not two: yes, no, and not stated. Most postings say nothing, and we will not turn silence into a “no” for you.
What the match score is
An ordering aid with its reasons attached, not a judgement of you and not a prediction that you will be hired. Each reason points at a specific sentence in your CV or in the job ad; where we cannot point at one, we leave the claim out. Nothing here rejects you, and no employer sees a score for you.
Your account
- Upload only a CV that is yours to upload, and keep it accurate.
- One person, one account. Do not share sign-in links.
- Do not scrape the site, resell the corpus, or run automated requests against it. The postings are collected under the terms of the systems that publish them, and those terms do not travel with a copy someone takes from us.
- You can export or delete everything at any time. See the privacy policy.
Availability
The service is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it is uninterrupted, that the corpus is complete, or that any particular posting is still open. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to abuse the AI features, whose usage is capped per person per day.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that is acceptance of the new version.
