About us

Job search is full of results nobody can explain. A site shows you a role, you cannot tell why it appeared, and the only way to find out whether it fits is to read it, which is the work you came to have help with.
WorkSynapse exists to answer the second question. Describe the job you want in a sentence, or upload a CV, and every match arrives with its reasons: what lines up, what does not, and which sentence in the posting or in your CV each reason came from.
What we do differently
- Every claim is traceable. A reason that cannot point at a span of real text is dropped before you see it, rather than hedged into something vaguer.
- “Not stated” is an answer. Most postings say nothing about salary or visa sponsorship. We show the silence instead of guessing, and where we did estimate a salary we label it as ours.
- Nothing about you that should not matter. Age, gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability and family status are never extracted or stored, and neither are the fields that imply them.
- No decision is made about you. We rank and explain; you decide whether to apply. Nobody is filtered out by a model here.
Where the jobs come from
We currently carry 2,096,110 live postings, collected from company career pages and from the public interfaces the applicant tracking systems publish for exactly this purpose. We do not scrape job boards. Every posting names its source and links back to the original, which is both the licence condition we work under and the only way you can check us.
Where to start
Describe the work you want and a sentence is enough. An account is what turns that into a ranked feed with the reasoning attached, because there is nothing to explain until we know what you are looking for.
